Our Home - Celebrating One Year!

We did it folks, we made it to our One Year Marker - as Matt calls them.
We have both loved nearly every moment of this past year, there have been some growing pains, but that goes to be expected. The growing pains have resulted in a huge satisfaction with our new life. We love being married and never want to go back.

I thought for those of you who hadn't had a chance to visit you could tour our little home via La Vie Augspurger...

Here is our living room/library/family room yes all in one room. :)

Here is the bathroom - keeping with the theme of course - Amber's junk.

Here is the bedroom

Here is our sweet little dining room.

Here is the kitchen - a bit on the small side.

And last but not least the lovely trees that help me stay happy here...

So that is it, that awesome blue couch folds out into a queen sleeper, so we have room, you just got to be ok with the sleep over mentality, cause with no walls that is what it feels like. :) Yeah to the Lord for such a lovely little life. We love our Clubhouse - that is what we call it - and we love the life the good Lord has gifted us with. Yeah for one Year down and Many More to go! :)

Well I guess we can give it a go...

Due to the inspiration of my dear Jillian Sue L.K
I am going to "try" blogging. I don't know if I will like it or if it will work for me, but I don't have anything to loose but the desire to blog so here I go...

Currently I am on a mini vacation in between our normal school year and the Preschool's Summer in the Son program. I wake up each morning (much later then normal) not sure what to do with my time or better yet what not to do, seems like I can conquer the world with so many hours of day light in front of me!

Excitement of the moment - I am heading to Seattle next Monday for a week to be with family and enjoy life in the great Northwest! I love visiting Seattle. I love the scent of the air, the fresh breeze off the Puget Sound (I know this sounds crony - but it's true!!), and of course seeing my beautiful family. At the moment I am most excited to see little Charlie!

She was born in March so we will be approaching 3 months when

I see here next...fortunately Jillian and Mom came down for a mini break in April and I had the honor to meet her. I would say Charlotte's highlight was seeing the Pacific Ocean for the first time, mind you she slept through the experience but that is what 6 week old babies do! ;)

This time around I hear she is an absolute kick...with even more personality. Mom said I wont wont to go home, I have a feeling she is right, it might be challenging. Charlie aside I have some catching up to do with my newly nose pierced little sister, yes nose pierced. What am I going to do with my hot little Lacey? Plus Papa Burns will be visiting, there is a party at the Bateman's set for the 4th, of course there will be dinner on the 3rd at That's a'Some Italian and a sleep over at the Fisher's on the 5th. So all in all I have a feeling it will be a busy trip. ;) Yeah for much needed VACATION!
